Ulcerative colitis diagnosed 1967 (age 15) After changing diet and taking cortisone, asulfidine for years started getting better. I was hospitalized again at age 17. With a 3 month period of time I was raped by a robber and illegally searched and seized for drugs; I could not cope. Age 19 started becoming sick again. Instead of going into the hospital, blood transfusions, medications etc....I quit my job, left my boyfriend and went on a trip and drank Kefir. I got better in a week.

I had realized that ultimately this disease came from how I reacted to the stresses and strains that came into my life. AND DIET. Diet plays an

important part in everyone's life.

Many years later my life led me to own, operate, manage a massage clinic. People diagnosed with ulcerative colitis would come in say they were told this was an incurable disease. From my own experience I knew this was not the case. I have not had UC in 35 years These realizations did not come overnight but from the progression of events

Then I began to wonder what other diseases are diagnosed as uncurable.
